VPI Website Redesign
Redesigning VPI’s website to improve navigation, usability, and brand authority.

ROLE
UX/UI Product Designer
TIMELINE
July 2025
MY LANE
Information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design
CONTEXT
The Vietnam Petroleum Institute’s (VPI) original website lacked visual hierarchy, clear navigation, and a modern interface to match its leading role in national energy knowledge. My goal was to redesign the site to create a professional, trustworthy, and user-friendly digital presence.

PROBLEMS
The original website (view here) suffered from several UX and UI issues:
Outdated visual design with poor readability.
Information was scattered and difficult to access.
The site did not reflect VPI’s innovation and national leadership in energy.
Design Process
Research & Audit

I reviewed the original site structure, analyzed usability gaps, and identified key improvement areas:
Users wanted faster access to products, services, and news.
The design needed to better reflect VPI’s innovation and credibility.
Clearer navigation and stronger visuals would increase trust and engagement.
Wireframing & Layout

I created a clean card-based layout prioritizing navigation (Products, Services, News, About).
Prototype in Figma

I built a clickable prototype highlighting intuitive flows and how refreshed content hierarchy.
Final Look

Outcome
The redesign transforms VPI’s website into a modern, professional platform that communicates authority and trust. The new structure improves user navigation, enhances brand image, and better supports VPI’s mission of leading national energy knowledge.
